It is the ram air option. It says body stripe on your report there but does they include the hood decal ? Or you have the ram air option would that always come with the hood decal and I mean the large stripe not the words ram air on side of hood. My other Mach 1 has the stripe along the bottom only I’ll post a photo of it and it’s marti report he has nothing about a body stripe on it. Thanks for y’all trying to assist to take the time. Keep in mind this is the one I got in August the one I just bought Its being packed up and shipped across several states so I don’t have it yet and it’s not painted at all just primerMarti isn't perfect, but there's a 99.9% chance that if it's not on the report, it didn't come with them. Based on the report, your car would look just like the pewter Mach 1 tnfastback posted. The only exterior difference would be the 15" steel wheels vs the 14" on the car in the photo.
The 71-72 Mach 1 did not come with body side stripes unless it was specifically ordered with them. It should be noted as such on the Marti Report as "Body Side Tape stripes" or something similar.
The contrasting paint pattern on the hood was included and only available with Ram Air for 71-72. That would also be noted on the Marti Report as "Ram Air option". It also included the ram air ducting under the hood, the air filter setup, chrome twist locks and hold down brackets on the radiator support.

@Hemikiller,The hood is painted it's not a decal. The engine callouts on the sides of the scoops are decals. You can buy a paint mask from various Mustang supply houses.

The body side tape stripe did not include the hood paint, nor vice-versa. They were separate and mutually exclusive options.
Sorry I apologize, i took it has if you thought I was an ***** and ive gotten to know you now and realize your only trying to help and you are an expert. Please accept my apology. Ive had some bad experiences on forums so I go into protection mode. I got kicked out of one when they found out I am gender. I was denied access to a Mustang II facebook group and found out through a friend that knows the administrator, he is an older person and rejected me, told him my profile looked like a dating profile even though it was just a photo of my face. but he also said he doesnt like transgender, I even changed my photo to my king cobra and still rejected me. Its a very hard life to live and whats crazy is im an elected precinct chair for the republican party in my area and i got to speak with trump over zoom because he had to cancel his texas visit but a week later i got in the mail a photo of him and nice note. then the Maintenace people stole, while i was gone from my apartment, it came down to their word against mine which why i have cams in all my rooms. But im just a normal person that has a passion for Mustangs and investing. But I also have to deal with negativity, insults, and egos (on some forums that want to make fun of me because I said something that was not correct or mis identified something, simple mistake.) Anway's im sorry about that.I'm not a mind reader and simply responded to what you posted. You kept saying decal, which is a common question or misconception. I fail to see how my answers called you out as dense or stupid, or were egotistical in any way. You *did not* ask about the location of the hood paint, but if it was included in the stripes option. I answered your questions as factually as possible, but you don't seem to like those answers for whatever reason.
Please mind your own business, you're not answering questions or helping, you're just trying to get us upset at each other. ThanksI think you just embarrassed yourself! He tried answer your original question, and you slammed his "stripe delete" answer...
