My Car
1973 Mach 1
Hello everyone, I’ve been lurking on the forums for roughly 3 or so months and another member I conversed with said that I should do an introduction. I recently bought a ‘73 Mach1 as a senior project/general project car! I plan to restore her over the coming years, I plan on doing sort of a “restomod”, in places where It’d sense like upgrades here or there but I would like to keep it as stock as possible. I never really knew the 71-73s were a thing but I’m excited to spend the next few years taking her back to her former glory! I also never really knew able the Cleveland I had heard about the Windsor since it had such a long run but truly a beautiful motor, some power adjustments will most likely be made at some point I’m sure!

Nice looking Pony and I think you have a great plan. Like you, I too am trying to keep mine as original as possible but in no way a purist. Welcome to the forum and enjoy the wealth of knowledge from this group. I’ve learned that every question/issue posted has value for lots of us. So looking forward to seeing you around 👍

Welcome from Chicago! Good looking Mach you have there, sounds like you have a good plan of what you want to do with it, enjoy the journey. If you have any questions don't hesitate to post them here. There are a lot of really knowledgeable guys here that are always willing to help. I have learned a lot form the members here in the few years since I bought my car.

Welcome from your next door neighbor in Idaho. If you're interested in leaving it as stock as possible, look at upgrades that are easily reversable and save any original parts you take off in a box somewhere. Someday you may be glad you did.
