Apparently, any tire OVER 10 years old becomes a liability as the rubber starts to become hard and crack. At least according to the manufactures who want to sell new tires.

 
Nope. Won't drive down the block with those things. If you really want that look, see what Corker Tires (or one of the other tire makers that sale that vintage look) to give you that look you want and still be able to use the car.
