I've done the same with other sites in the past when I've been 'into' other things. "TheTechZone" and "4Peeps" when I was heavily into computer mods and whatnot, "Jeeps Unlimited" when I was hitting the Jeep project hard, "Dodge Talk" for my '97 Ram, "Honda Civic Forums" and "EGHatchback.com" during the 'Honda Civic VX' years, "Airbrush.com" (for obvious reasons), "The Mouthpiece" for brass band stuff, and others over time.
But this site's probably the most involved I've ever been - not just because my car's not done, but because I believe this is the best overall group of folks I've come across. The other sites had noticeable 'ratios' of boneheads and irritating members who would regularly start and participate in flame wars and conflicts - not at all here though. When someone posts up some questionable or even wrong information, everybody seems to politely nudge them in the right direction, as opposed to simply smash them upside the face with the 'right' answer and keep on it until they finally hit the ground, with other members climbing on in the process for their own ego-fluffing. I really appreciate that.
Oh yeah - I've got 'Pink Floyd - One of these Days' playing right now.
