What amazes me is we had the technology back then, check the jets,

to put a nuclear weapon in something the size of an air to air

missile. What do we have now??

I like how the government blames us for holes in the ozone layer with all our aerosols and emissions...what effect do you think all these aerial nuke blasts have on the ozone? I once saw a map that showed where the biggest ozone holes were and they corresponded with nuclear testy sites all over the globe! Hmmmm...imagine that!

That is absolutely insane, given what we know now. I am a child of the 60's, I do remember having drills in grade school getting under our desks when the alarm would sound... bomb drills. Crazy times...
