I'm not much on verts. But out of all the different cars out there. Only the 71-73 verts can still pull off that muscle look while topless.

The convertibles (coupes too) look especially good when blacked out - no stripes, urethane bumper, black steel rims with hubcaps and no trim rings. Don't know why - it doesn't work for the Sportsroof.

I get chills looking at this '73 vert with a blackout grill treatment. It's a custom, but it oozes more character than I can fathom. Blacking out the grill trim bring the '73 turn signals in perfect harmony with the flat hood:

That first car is absolutely gorgeous! If I were to ever have a 'vert... wow.

The one Kurt posted is just bad-ass.

The only way it could be more bad-ass (IMHO, of course), would be with a Ram Air hood. Also maybe throw on a set of black hockey stripes and black matte TuTone on that Ram Air hood. I think I would go with rectangular driving lights though - take away those signal lights, squint a little, and you're looking at a super-wide '67 Camaro from the front.

4by.... love that idea. I kinda thought along those lines with "painting" a fade or muted stripe package instead of the typical stripes.

Black is one of my favorite colors on our cars. This car sure looks NICE.

The chrome bumper does look good against the black. Nice mods for a vert for sure!

yeah I'm kinda fond of those chrome bumpers my self....although in an earlier thread it was somewhat suggested they did not come on Mach I's .... :whistling:

The guy posting this was ALL OVER promoting the Mach I attire without coming out and saying it. then I laughed at the end where he kinda sorta says "he heard" it was a Mach I convertible all I could do was LAUGH!!

I think its a good resto-mod I love the look as long as "MACH I" isnt stickered on the car.... its a nice compliment. and VERY RARE and I've heard they are original.

I doubt there is any Jaberwockeeez in Memphis. The terrain is not Tennessee .....its desert looking. I'd say Vegas.
