I painted one myself also. Home made plastic paint booth. Turned out pretty nice! New garage is going to have a dedicated room for painting.
It does take a lot of time and patience to do it right. Can’t wait to do my car next.

A good friend just got the call that his 71 Challenger is painted and ready to be picked up. We delivered the car in early Feb 2023, the painter just finished it this week. This was a complete color change from Gold to Plum Crazy, the timeframe is appropriate for a non-restoration shop. It still needs the interior and powertrain reinstalled, but he has all winter for that.
