i never thought of doing this.. i just used the resistor wire voltage to the coil with the pertronix. it runs fine, but i may just used a relay and do the same thing.. i have a relay so it's cheaper then buying .

I put one in. No issues, easy as pie. Directions were spot on. Using the relay with a Pertronix III. I mounted the relay on the passenger inner fender near the voltage regulator.

I thought you were going with a Duraspark set-up using the NPD conversion wiring harness. If that's the case, the Pertronix power relay is not necessary. Trust me, I'm running an Accel Supercoil with the Duraspark & NPD wiring harness - no issues.
