I always wanted a usa tele and just could not find one I really liked at a good price so I made my own out of a solid chunk of maple then 2 of my buds wanted one so I made 2 more...one of which was played in nashville for ricky skaggs (blue one) at the ryman auditorium photo (15).JPGphoto (16).JPG

Yes they do and with the right full tube combo they will rip with anything out there (especially these with texas specials in them)

My top 3 favorite guitarists... Each has a style very unique:

Mark Knopfler

David Gilmore

Neil Young

Each can make their guitar sing. Sure, there are other greats like Clapton, SRV, Dwayne Allman, Joe Bonamassa, even Chet Atkins... But none o fthem move me like those 3 do.

Hey, cool. I can't believe you actually build Teles. That leads me to the question: are you on the TDPRI forum?

I love Teles myself. Got a USA 52 RI that has about 20 years on it now and a Japanese paisley Tele.

I was lucky to see Brad Paisley in San Diego in October. Tele heaven. :)

No I'm not any music forums.

That is a great looking RI. I got to drool on a real nocaster once in a local music store (the price was knee bending high) but damn it played great.

I live in the area where wal-mart began and is still HQ so I see a lot of big timers. Saw brad when he was just getting started at a wal-mart parking lot autograph gig in bentonville. He is a super nice guy and what a guitar player.

Brent Mason is still my hero, well, him and Johnny Hiland. But I guess one of the best guitar players I have ever seen is my best bud and neighbor Tim Case, he don't tour anymore but he does still play locally, and records for people. He is the one who owns the blue guitar dubbed "the patriot" that played it in Nashville, and Branson. When he plays a guitar it makes me want to just use mine for firewood. And what kills me is he is a lefty that plays right handed.
