rear quarter extesnions

I've removed my quarter tail extensions and there is a piece of rubber channel (see pics).  Is this factory and if so where can I buy it.

That is area where lots of people break their paint. When you go back on do not go too tight with the bolts and make the cast extension push on the quarter panel. Also be sure you get enough non hardening sealer around the stud holes so you don't get water leaks.
