as part of my resto, i removed the wiring harness that goes to the rear of the car. it looks like it is comprised of four sections.

1) first one is a single black wire that connects into a red connector facing off to a green wire in the dashboard above the steering column. What is this for ?

2) dome light wire - single blue wire with red connector that goes along d/s roof section into rear harness

3) and 4) wiring loom with one red connector and one white connector that sit under d/s inner door section next to the door light switch and for the rear lights.

the loom cover is braided cloth but like most i have seen, not weathered well and shredded now. Is this sold separately ? the wires themselves look in perfect condition and i will test them. Unless anyone advises otherwise i would like to keep existing wires rather than replace the whole loom.

I will also need to remove the light bulb holders, de-rust and plate before reinstalling....

some pics.
