When one, my brother here, could by a rather rare factory '67 GT500 427 medium riser for $4700 in 1974 after college graduation?

Yeah I remember buying my first car. 1965 GTO for 150.00 bucks. It had no brakes and the drivers seat was ripped and an Earl Shibb (spelling) paint job that was peeling like old wall paper. But it was mine and all my friends were jealous that I had wheels.
