We have many requests for help resolving problems and our members are quick to respond with information and advice. Frequently, the OP doesn't post the outcome of the repair effort. It would be helpful to future users if everyone would post the outcomes of their repair efforts. So I'm asking for everyone's help in doing that. Please post what did, or did not, solve the problems you encounter.

Thanks for your help,

Chuck

Oh yeah - Great Post, Chuck. ::thumb::

I hate always being left to wonder if things ever got resolved or not. It's tough to just assume that "no news is good news."

i have about 500 PM saved and all of them from users that asked for help most of them never got back to me, or disappeared so i have no idea if my advice helped or hurt them.

i try :D

Will E, I have the same thought. But, even if only a few more OPs respond with results it will be an improvement. Chuck

We could always follow up and ask on the thread what the outcome was. Also send a PM asking for the op to post that info.

Yup, I agree although I must admit that I have been guilty as charged too once or twice.

What really annoys me is when someone asks my advice in a pm and doesn't even say thanks after I typed my fingers off.

Come on, a pm is easy to answer.

I know that those people don't need to ask me by pm again as I will not reply.

I was guilty of this sorry, it took me a whole week to put on an intake & manifold. I'm just slow & a bit disabled. I posted up my results. And I agree, I also like to see the outcome of a build or a problem. It helps to learn as much as I can about these awesome cars!
