Looks great! Did you replace any of the seat foam on the rear seat?
Yeah, the rear doesn’t have foam, it’s burlap and batting….I stripped all seats down to metal frame, killed the rust, repaired a few broken or weak areas then painted with black rustoleum…the fronts are 100% foam, and all new.

Started on carpet…test fit front, test fit console and mount holes, then added sound proofing foam. Dropped in carpet and kick panels. Tested clock, clock dead but lights work…might order a replacement clock…

pro tip for you.
a heat gun that feels warm to your hand will MELT ACC carpet! Not happy with this carpet…the rubberized backing is thin in spots and the weave shows through to back…plus it melts way too easy….I patched the carpet, will see how it holds up….

Great progress, RIBS! It really is coming together well. Have you considered butting sound deadener in the doors?
I have, but since it’s a potential wet environment, I am not sure about it…my door panels will be TMI hard molded plastic with a molded layer of foam and vinyl covering them, so the foam might help a little…

I have some butyl for reducing low level frequency , and some closed cell foam for high frequency sound…

Seats are done, mght get a little wrinkle attention when it warms up.
my fingers are bleeding.

Door panel and moisture barrier work…these TMI panels don’t fit, the clip holes and mirror control mount hole is all wrong…a lot of work to massage it, I am going to have to pull it and work on it some more….
