Running Horse Door Seal Logo

My brother purchased a 71 Mach I M Code grabber green new in Tri Cities Area of Tennessee. The door sill panels of that car had Running Horse logos on them where the blue oval Ford seal is located on current replacement panels. I called CJ Pony to see if I could get those stick-on running horse logos for my present 72 Mach I build. They told me that they have never heard of them.

Has any one on the forum seen or heard of them or know of a source for them? I guess they could have been a dealer option "add -on", but don't really know.

I later purchased that 71 M-code from my brother in 73, drove until 84 and then sold it back to him.

Am the original owner of a 71 Boss 351 and have never seen or heard of those running horse logos.

It may have been a local dealer prep thing. They were there on that Mach I that I owned and drove from May 72 till September 82. They looked really good, much better than the Blue oval ford script.

I've owned over 40 71-73 Mustangs and they all had the blue oval logo - if they hadn't fallen off.
