This stuff is a cool find. Would possibly help in finding out more history of my 72. Was putting my new registration in my glove box and found it down below a bunch of junk in the very bottom... I wonder what the beat up tag is all about?

Cool stuff. The tag looks like it came from the bottom of one of the seats.

I also think it's from the seat, I have some which looks like yours I found under my seats

As for the tag - that is what I thought too - beat-up tag came from one of the seats. Those tags are commonly attached to the framework underneath the seat bottom.

I think everyone is right...I dimly remember when I first got the car changing the buckets out for the ones in my 71 parts car cause they looked nicer. I probably took the tag off one of the originals and threw it in the glove box...
