doing some sanding drinking wine... painting...drinking wine... more sanding parts listening to some Zepplin.... Wife walks out "i can step on the cats tail and get you better sound.....":p

Really not bad Nolimits. I was pleased. I prepped and painted patiently. The humidity in Houston did affect the drying process but I got the parts on by midnight. It was one of those "do something" even if its a small thing.

Cool, Dana! That sounds like fun, actually. Now that I've got my evening planned out, I just need to find some Zeppelin for the iPOD.

Hey Doc... my 26 yr old got Pink Floyd ... and Zep for me... wife grew up in church listening to Donnie Osmond ...I grew up in a trailer park listening to Rock...... she hates Zep :D:D:D so I turn it up

DropTop... do you use a kerosene (spl) heater at all? This year I've got nice warm temps. Last year I just fired up the space heater and it was comfortable.

I play Zeppelin via the Pandora app on my iPhone. Its free and it mixes in Floyd, acdc and other artists in the genre.

Thanks, MeZapU, I'll check it out.

Dana, we may have been neighbors at one time! I remember when The Wall was released and Dark Side of the Moon was still on the charts. I was stationed at the Marine Corps Air Station in Iwakuni, Japan. Living in the barracks with the rest of the single guys, we were continually trying to outdo each other with the stereo components we bought at the Exchange. The Technics system I put together while I was there had speakers with 18" woofers. After a year, I had spent over $1200 (in 1981 dollars) on a monstrous stereo system that I gave to my little brother after I got married 10 years later. He sold it about 2 years later...

Memories....

Sorry for the long post!

Doc

73 Vert... remember back then the Morantz system was the top of the line??? we had a friend that liked to hang around...he was a groupie to the druggies and gearheads (not that I was one of those)... he was a rich kid and his dad was a producer for WSM Radio. We got all the sound stuff out of Opry when the flood hit just in the 73 I think, for dang near nothing which was just a little higher than I could afford. a couple of us had some nice music makers.
