I use this product. Excellent factory match, really good adhesion. It's a durable satin finish that's easy to keep clean.

This type of 1/8" flexible "Fine Line" tape will help for the bright detail work, in addition to all the lens masking with regular wide masking tape.

dtmasoGT5 not sure about the link problem. But search 1/8 inch fine line tape for your tail light project.

How hard was it to mask them off? It looks like it would be difficult to me. I’d like to do mine but I would hate to ruin them.

Masking the plastic lenses very well is important to avoid over spray. An optional method instead of using the 1/8" Fine Line tape is using a small sponge wet with lacquer thinner. Gently and accurately wipe the raised bright "bead" around the masked plastic lenses which was freshly painted, (without the Fine Line tape). Either method is tedious.

There was so little of the black left on mine I spent a lot of time polishing it off. I thought it was some kind of tarnish. It was years later before I realized it was supposed to be black.
