Tilt steering wheel question

I had posted this question in my build thread, but I think it got lost. My question is: can I use the rather plain turn signal lever in place of the unique looking tilt lever? I haven’t found one yet and wondered if that was because the stock lever would do the job.

I find an original standard one works just fine. Can't speak for a repro if they are made.

Thanks Doug. I wonder if that plastic sleeve that is at the attaching end of the lever can be added to a standard one to create the function?
