Is it possible to reseal them, mine are in good shape just leaking a bit. I know you can buy new but at $150 each I would try something first.

Or can you get some from junkyard later model fox mustang or something?

Mine leaked so bad when I bought my car the top would only move a few inches. I thought it was just low on fluid but when I pulled the back seat to add some I could see the fluid pooled on the floor pan. I researched and found that they are not rebuildable. I had read that late model cylinders could be made to work but I never tried them myself. I ended up buying used ones which have worked well for 4 years. Gotta be careful if you buy used that you aren't buying more leakers.

According to my source (Hollander Interchange Manual), the 71 Mustang used a lift assembly that was unique to the 1971 model.

The 72 - 73 Mustangs used the same assembly as the 71 - 73 Cougars.
