I really did not want to reply to this but I just can't help myself. It is not difficult to see why people are infuriated at the current administration and it leader. When the bad orange man was running the clown show that is the federal government we had one of the best economy's on record. The current administration inherited a "V" shaped economic recovery. The GDP in the US saw over a 33% surge in the third quarter of 2020, after plunging over 31% in the second quarter. The economy continued to grow at a 4% rate in the fourth quarter, and the stock market ended 2020 with the S&P 500 index up 16% for the year as a whole. Things were looking up and then disaster hit when the new administration took over; closing pipelines, no new drilling, no renewal of drilling, multi trillion dollar federal deficits, Inflation, higher taxes, more regulations, incentives for workers to stay home, incentives to avoid investment, a disastrous foreign policy that has the world at the brink of WWIII etc... It was obvious to me that there was going to be inflation as we had not seen since Carter, as the feds just kept printing money. As Milton Friedman once said, Governments love to print money, as the only other option is taxation. Taxation is very unpopular, so they just print money, and inflation is basically the "taxes" you are paying for all the money printed. Most all of this could have been avoided... At lets not even talk about the "woke" agenda... Not everything that has happened to the economy is the current administrations fault, but a lot of it is, and at the end of the day, they are running the show, so the buck stops with them.Sorry to you and anyone else. Anyone to me who uses the "Brandon" term to me is part of the problem more than the solution when using that slur, maybe not a problem in other areas and times and I see no resemblance to maturity or intelligence while using that term. Also using that term with Biden's economy which isn't completely his fault and is an issue in other countries makes it a double trigger for me. Those two things together appear completely biased to me. Maybe I am biased also. We all see and are blind in areas. Sometimes I make a mistake and don't rise above. I don't consider using that term a live and let live person would use after the last president's blatant authoritarian ways not to mention his military evading. They should be appreciative even with Biden's many imperfections. I am a live and let live person and have been friends and lived, hired, rented to most races, sexualities, gender variations ,ages, religious and political views. Not just a saying with me I have lived it. We all fight for our country in different ways. No president will be perfect, but we simply didn't have a viable Republican option. I am not Democrat nor a Republican as both sides have too many disfunctions etc. I can identify with. I am conservative in some areas and liberal in others. No box fits for me. Vets have fought for our Democracy and we were close to losing it. Something less likely to happen with Biden(Started typing Brandon ,oops) no matter if we don't agree with his efforts. Can we please use a more constructive term than one that is supposed to mean "F you Biden". I will never see intelligence in that term no matter your views on him.
Most people had been coming out of a really good time in their economic lives, and then the policies set by this administration and a lot of local governments just killed them. The amount of people that had successful small businesses that were just obliterated, is incredible. Are these people right in being infuriated at what has happened to them? ABSOLOUTELY! And if the worst they do is call the the guy running the clown show a "slur", I would say that is not such a bad thing compared to what has been done to them. Lets not forget when these people, easily half the country, were called "deplorables" and no one cared...
