Unknown Trim Pieces

Does anyone know what these trim pieces are for and where they go? They were a part of the "bundle" of trim pieces I picked up for a 71 Mustang at a swap meet, but I cannot find where they fit on my fastback.

I think these are the door rubber channels that fit down the front door opening. The flattened end slides into the top channel.

I think he is right, weatherstripping fits in the center…

Aus73Mach1 is 100% correct. They are also side specific. Sportsroof and coupe use the same part. Convertible is unique.

I just took a look at my car and yes it is correct.

Absolutely. I just bought some and installed them. Front door pillar, connected to the bottom of the weatherstrip channel. Then the weatherstrip screws into the pillar below the end of the trim
