The whole point of the matte-black hood was to simulate the "non glare" flat black hoods of race cars. That is why I went to so much effort to keep it as "matte" as possible. Glossy looks great on these cars, but it is not appropriate for the "look".

I totally agree with you on that Kit. That's the way i see it as well.
