Sounds like you have already thought this thing out pretty well. Go for it just be safe doing it. Saving a few bucks in electricity is not worth losing your car or worse.

Been thinking about this project all winter. If I do decide to try it I will definitely make sure it's done right. Same as installing one in a house I guess hook it all up the same. Thanks for all the input guys!!!
