What AFR gauge kit are you using?

I'd like to install one in my car to help dial in my carb tuning but the reviews for the Innovate and AEM are all over the place. Most are negative saying they come with a poor quality sensor. Is there a kit out there that you have had success with and would recommend that comes with a real Bosch sensor? Or at least a rec on a kit and I can buy the Bosch sensor separately.

Thanks!

I have this AEM one. It works as advertised. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/AVM-30-0300
I also have a carb cheater, which comes with an O2 sensor and displays AFR. When I swapped the carb cheater into my car, I pulled the AEM gauge out, but left the O2 sensor there. The carb cheater works with AEM's sensor. I installed the AEM gauge in a different vehicle, and had the carb cheater O2 sensor still handy, so used that. They each work well with the other one's sensor.

I think they both come with a bosch sensor. That summit link says bosch 4.9LSU sensor, specifically.

The carb cheater guys did make a post on their FB page recently. They got a few different O2 sensors and cut them apart and showed what was inside. The cheap ones are definitely lacking.

I previously used the Inovate Motorsport a/f gauge with it's on board data logger. Liked it very much. Seemed very accurate and fast responding. BUT it's internal illumination was soldered in White mini led's. I wanted Green illumination to match the rest of my dash and exisiting gauge set up. I "carefully" opened up the Inovate af gauge and soldered in new mini green led's. The new Green illumination matched my existing Green lights perfectly. Unfortunately...the actual gauge no longer worked! My "carefully" done modification ruined an expensive gauge!
I now run an Autometer (they have easily
changeable internal bulbs). I'm not 100% happy with the current Autometer af gauge. It's notably slower and is a bit finicky. Given a choice, I prefer the Inovate setup (except it's unchangeable illumination) vs my current Autometer.
This is the sensor I use with both the Autometer and Inovate:

351mach1,
Most of the sensors used in these kits are pretty much the same with two different types of harnesses.
these sensors also fail on the aftermarket fuel injection systems.
The root cause of most failures is moisture in the exhaust during the warm-up cycle where relatively cold moisture droplets come in contact with the heated oxygen sensor.
Consider using a spacer or elbow with a smaller surface area to keep the condensation off of the sensor.
I have innovative in my mach and also one that I use for temporary testing that I use for a tool,
just small alligator clips for the electrical connections so I can tap into anything that has a fitting.
Don't blame the sensor, blame the internal combustion process.

351mach1,
If you don't already have one, get a good quality vacuum gauge that you can read from inside the car.
it will help with trying to tune with a wideband 02 meter.
Don't get too hung up on the numbers or try to hit a number exactly, learn what your engine likes and dislikes.
