I would jack up under the lower control arm out near the ball joint. That is where the weight is supported anyway and will not stress anything. As far as under the body at the front end of the rocker box under the A post, where door bolts is a strong place, torque boxes. DO NOT GO UNDER THE CAR AND JACK ON THE SO CALLED FRAME RAIL. Even a good no rust car can get damage there. Never never jack the front end up using the front cross member in the middle to lift both sides.

In the rear go to the middle of the axle housing under the center section and jack up the entire rear at once. Will be lifting where the weight is anyway.

The jacking instructions in trunk show where to put jack on the rocker box if just doing a tire.
