wheel/tire combo

I'm sure this question comes up often, however, I'll ask again. Having a 71 mach1, whats the biggest 15" wheel/backspacing that will fit in the rear wheel well without any rub? How about the tire size too. I'm not too big on low profile tires. Thanks for any input!

My 15 x 8 Magnums with 275/60/15 TA radials fit with no problems.

Has done the work and recorded the formula so to speak you can run 15x10 and 295/50s no worries if you follow his tips Search his posts.

Yup - in fact, that's what I'll be running on mine, except with Cragar S/Ss. He found a vendor that sells 15x10 Magnum 500s - they look sweet, too! ::thumb::

I've had 15x10's on the rear of my car since 1999. A little massaging to get them to fit but no issues in all that time.

My 15 inch cragars with bfg 275/60/15 fit easy but I had to modify the backspacing to 4 3/4 inch to allow for my calipers. It clears them by a few mm.
