The thread title was "where have you been" Is pins and needles a place? This is the anniversary of me teaching my daughter to drive HER VERY FIRST TIME!!! yep and cool dad that I am...I chose to make it a memory she can never forget...driving a 67 Mustang convertible. 3 years later she is doing a good job.[/php]

Great picture...And what a awesome memory to go with it.

I remember my dad letting me loose with my mach 1..he sure did give me a lecture on how much trouble i could get in..and how worried he was that my first car was a bit of a hot rod..lol..I promissed him i wouldn't ever do anything stupid in that car, It must of worked, i have a spotless driving record and i still got the car!! lol

thanks Hyena. she loved it and for a first drive she did well. I should add that she's not 3 years into driving well in THAT car. I gave her a 2010 Civic I would never give a teenager a cool car to ruin. Civic's are expendable.

Really cool shots you have in the back yard. We hope to take a vacation and go to the mountains sometime soon.

Something cool , Local news station KEPR been using my pictures as there facebook wallpaper...They sent me a message asking if they could use some of my pics

.. One shot i took last week at the old Northern Pacific train Bridge they are using right now. other one i took while hiking on top of horse heaven hills few months ago.

Fjordland on the same day as the snow shots, land of a thousand waterfalls and huge sheer mountains, awe inspiring place,

Beautiful Milford Sound. New Zealand is one of my favorite places I have ever been.

Great Memories..... I have so many great pictures from that great land. It was hard to pick a few, but here are some of them.

The last picture has a sad story tied to it. That's the cathedral in Christchurch. I took that picture on February 21, 2011 at 5:58pm. That was less than 24 hours before the devastating and deadly earthquake that hit the city and took down the spire of the cathedral. Our airplane took off (for the second time) from Christchurch just two hours before the earthquake stroke. We first took off at 6am, but had to come back due to flap problems. We just missed it.

Picture i took while out hiking the other day...Not far from my home " about half hour walk" locals call it Browns Rock... According to local legend, a railroad survey scouting party led by a Mr Brown was ambushed by indians at this location, they climed up on the big rock in front of the cliffs and held them off for a few days. The story use to be printed in a local town paper, which brunt down and lost all records.

Taking pics at a local war mermorial cemetery, got some family buried there. ...I always liked the old m60 tank.. My dad back in the day " ex timberwolf and still alive " we would get to clime all over them in the 70's and early 80's. They really got this one caged in, didn't think i was going to be able to get a good shot of it..My camera lens just fit between the fence..lol
