My Car
1972 R code Mach1. Being resto moded.
The wife is starting to get into the Kiger Stang now that the control system is being designed. So she throws a wrench in the works yesterday and wants an Automatic so she can drive it.

ARGH:-/ I just hate automatics, two pedals are for paddleboats... .......

Since Im building the entire control system for this car (its what I for a full time job for the past 30 years) I decided to add her a "touring mode". When selected, the vehicle will dampen the hydraulic clutch operation to the point that the clutch will have a controlled engagement preventing the car from stalling. It will do this while monitoring the motor RPM. Preventing a stall if the clutch is let out too fast.

The Emergency brake will also be applied automatically when the clutch is pushed in and the vehicle is at 0 MPH, preventing roll when on an incline or decline. The perfect wife friendly six speed.

In performance mode the clutch is not dampened, the Supercharger boost raises from 400hp limit to 710 hp on the coyotee, the shocks stiffen, the exhaust cutouts operate on throttle response.

Im also adding a valet mode that will not let the car be driven faster than 30 MPH. Take that all you dishonest valets!!!

I love my job.
