I think the key words are RARE and COLLECTABLE when it comes to people putting big money down on items these days it seems. The cashed up baby boomers love it.

That color will grow on ya... LOL

Looks like car came originally without side stripes. Hence the lower bodyside moldings.

I have heard that most 429 cars did not come with side stripes.

Is that space saver spare part of the drag pack or SCJ option? I see that it doesn't have a fold down rear seat. Wow that's a lot of money!

 
Wow that a lot of cash. Does any one know what the most a 71/73 mustang has sold for on Ebay or Barret Jackson for. I saw a vert go for 28,000 on Barret Jackson once.

I read in Mustang Monthly where a low-mileage Boss 351 was scrapin' $80K.

And yeah, another 'stripes & molding' car. I have mixed feelings and wonder if they should take off 'value' points for mistakes like that. I mean, if someone wants both items on their car, fine - go for it. But I just hate when things are misrepresented when it comes time to advertise and sell. :rolleyes:
