1971 429 CJ for sale

Was searching around cl and saw this 429 car listed. Looks like lots of things need fixing and I think the spoiler is backwards, lol. Do not know if it is a clone or real.

Good lookin' car... but: The VIN he posted says "H-Code." :angel:

My personal issues:

I'm not a fan of mediocrely done painted-on stripes
Black hood, black mirrors, black bumpers, pewter car - gonna need a repaint
Paint looks really rough around the door gap picture - gonna need a repaint
No fan shroud
No washer bottle or horns (that I can see)
Stuff disconnected under the hood says "wrong wiring harness for the engine"
Weird dual exhaust - probably needs to go as well

The blacked out taillight panel with honeycomb panel and bright work is kinda cool, and I happen to like Centerline Convo Pro rims, too.

I'd be interested somewhere around $12K, if it looks better than the pics and there's no major rust.

According to the VIN# (1F05H) provided it's originally a 351-2V Mach1.
