seats for 73

Have a 73 convertible with original bucket seats which are in very good condition. That being said they are not very comfortable or supportive. Has anyone swapped in a set of newer seats from another vehicle, ie. another newer Mustang. Looking for an east installation without too much adjusting/fitting etc. Thanks

Prob need some new foam pads and that will help for comfort.

I have seen someone mention it before and you sound like original is not your concern. That said, anything can be done within reason, and the idea of a seat that has an adjustable recline sounds oh so nice. Tmi makes nice restomod style seat covers and foam for more support, but at the price you would pay, you could most likely have a good seat with a frame that reclines. If you have seats, and they are in decent shape, but want something different then get em, make the new frame work with your seat risers, and hold onto the other seats for the sake of just in case.

SN95 Mustang seats are supposed to work well, as they set low enough.

The Procar seats from Summit are supposed to be comfortable and fit well in our cars, some have retro styling, and some are very reasonable.
