have made the toploader swap from the 73 Q code into my 71 fastback with not too many issues.
new bearings and seals and such and a new AND used competition plus (long story in itself)
Long story made short trans works well and shifts great, correct speedo gears for my ratio and tires.
Just looking for the CORRECT speedo cable routing, (cable missing from the donor car)
As stated it works well, but the cable routing does not even look close to what I would imagine it should look like.
hoping for explanation of routing, but pictures are priceless.
