Hey everyone. I’m at the point on the Sniper install on the ‘71 of finding a good 12v source while cranking AND running. I thought Isaw this discussed on the site before, but now I can’t find it. Some say coil wire, some say no. Where do I go?

Because your car is a '71 you likely don't have the throttle position solenoid, so if it were me I would connect it to the battery via a Pertronix relay:


The relay trigger connects to the positive side of the coil and will then provide clean 12 volts when starting and running.
