If you are looking for an MCA National in a very scenic location and from what I have heard a very well organized show here is one to attend in early October. Over the years of attending MCA shows I have been told by several longtime members that when this show becomes available it is one to attend. Very picturesque surroundings with a lot to do away from the show and the benefit of the show partially being indoors out of the sun and elements. I have already booked my spot in conservator and plan to attend with the family. If you also plan to go, it would be great to meet.

Show went well and the weather was awesome. Got to catch up with many friends from the MCA family and made a few new ones. There was a "Branded" 67 Coupe parked directly across from me that was pretty cool. Limited option package available out of Texas. It is very interesting that the owner has a friend who bought several of the vinyl tops years ago and then they set out to find cars that were original branded cars and restore it. This is a 289 car that was very nice. Being judged in Concourse. They have shown the car 3 times with two very good outcomes and the most recent was not so good. I am not big at taking pictures so these are the only ones I have. I did see a "survivor' 72 Q code sportsroof with factory ram air. The gentlemen had a great story on the car.

Can you explain what you mean by a "branded" car? A special edition, perhaps?
Glad to. I have heard of these packages while working on my 67 GT many years ago, but never saw one until this show. The trim package made available through the Texas sales district was called the "Branded" mustang. I will look for some more information as I do not know all of the facts. My basic understanding is the trim package was the special vinyl top, side stripes, and special medallions on the C Pillar. It could be added to any mustang coupe.
