I have 2 351 Cleveland standard bore blocks, one is a 1970 (DOAE-L), and a 1972 (D2ae-CA). They are not magna-fluxed or tested. Grease was smeared in the bores years ago. And I have no desire to clean them for inspection. Looking for $250 ea. Or if someone on the forum wants them both I will...
Most Clevelands can handle more than the 600 cfm most calculators recommend. I ran a 750 Holley with vacuum secondaries, the engine shop dropped down to #70 jets from #72 and it ran perfect on my low compression cleveland. Good luck!!
I think we all have some kind of tool fetish, thats why we do what we do. My biggest pet peeve is having to buy a tool that I know I will only use a couple times in my life!!!
I have the Global West as well, they are great! But that being said, the round tubes look a little out of place. If I had to do it again, I might look at the box ones as they wouldn't look so foreign. Good Luck!!
I installed mine on a level floor, I put jack stands under the rear axle, but I did put the front up supported at the the fore most part of the subframe, because I couldn't get under the car without jacking it up, Tried the doors to make sure all was good. Car drives great with no issues. And is...
As the subject says, I'm looking for a usable set of steel rims with mustang (Ford Motor Company) hubcaps and beauty rings. I'm ok with a 14 inch set as well. Thanks!!
Finally finished 73 aluminum rims!! Machinist had to spend 8 hours repairing the center cap screw holes, lots of elbow grease with polish, some touch up paint for black lines and new valve stems. Can't wait to get them back on the car!!
I agree with spike, My friend has a 2004 GTO that can walk my mustang, but I get WAY more attention driving down the road. Yes its fun to add some HP, but our old cars will never do what new cars do. But they look way better doing what they do!
The aftermarket valve covers are more heavy duty than the originals too, I just had the lettering removed from a set of Ford Motorsport valve covers to make them look a little more like the originals. Good luck!
I think that holds your speedo cable. Oops, I see thats under your fender. I have no idea, maybe someone else may know, Somebody may have installed it for some aftermarket wiring.
