Any members who come across a 4 dr 1961 Plymouth Belvedere or Fury that isnt rusted in half please PM me---

Yeah I know we talk Fords here but never hurts to throw it out--Hopefully someone here will see one in a yard or barn :D

When I was a child my dad traded his 58 Edsel wagon in on a brand new 61 Plymouth. Ours was the base model with the slant 6 and three on the tree. I liked the fact that our car was like the car on the TV show Car 54, Where are You. You sure don't see those cars around anymore. I remember it having an oval shaped steering wheel.

The one on fleabay looks to be in pretty good shape. That might very well be the one to get.

I remember my uncle had a bright red one like it that he bought new. I was only about 8 years old at the time, but I remember that I thought the tail lights were pretty funny looking.

Thanks---I actually spoke to the guy on the green one on ebay--little high I'd say on his reserve

The other ebay one for the flats I've seen elsewhere---30g's a bit high for a 4dr for me even given the race history.

Blue one from auction is nice but already sold

I found another on Craigslist but 18 hours from here--waiting to hear back from him if he will move on price

Keep em coming :) Everyone check their craigslist

So guess who has to drive to Pottstown PA to pick up that green ebay car :)

Congratulations on securing a very nice car!

I love the forward look chryslers have a 61 Imperial myself you should check out the Power Big Meet in Vasteras Sweden went there this year if you like this era of car you would love this show

15000 cars there this year 3 days of cruising and showing (ps hope this isn't inapropriate)

Yeah I'd rather not run the bid up to the moon lol---guy actually lowered the reserve on the last day--I had spoken to him on the second day and he wanted quite a bit more. Very nice guy--he was working on a Cyclone and a Chevelle at his place. This thing was just never going to get done.

I've got the motor and trans out to rebuild. Motor is still set up and I've got it torn down to the block pistons crank--not sure why it wont turn.

Yeah if I knew anyone in Sweden I'd love to make that show!!! Woodward Dream Cruise here in Michigan aint a bad one to put on your checklist

I'm pretty happy with this car--its like a time capsule with only 38000 miles on it--Still had owners manual with warranty card not filled out in glove compartment--along with the service certificate from dealership showing original purchase in March of 61
