1973 351C 4V Quality Rebuild Parts?

Anyone have a recommendation for a quality hydraulic flat tappet lifter and cam combo that they have had a good experience with? I hear so many horror stories about failing lifters and wiped cams due to poor quality control and materials. I plan to use the car for regular highway driving and not any racing/strip use. A roller cam setup is just too expensive. Just need some well made and durable parts??? Thanks.

Gather all the specifics of your car (gear ratio, trans, stall converter, engine build details, intended use) and contact Brent at Lykins Motorsports for a custom cam (not much more than off the shelf cam). Chuck

Also, check with your cam source or machinist about which oil to use for break-in of your new camshaft.
