LPB2.jpgCan someone please help me? I bought a Front License Plate Bracket from CJ Pony and it said it was for the '73 Mustang, but i can't figure out how it mounts. Did I purchase the wrong one or am I just not getting it?? I have attached a pic of the one I ordered. Any pics or diagrams will help. Thx.

That looks like the wrong one to me. I'm charging my camera battery so I should able to get a picture pretty soon.

Here's what you need.

Ohio mustang is out of stock right now. That's where I got the pic.

I know that one fit's the 71 Mustang front bumper (not sure about the 73). I removed mine after getting collector's plates not requiring front plates. Here's a pic with the bolts still in it as it was mounted,if it fit's your 73 the two mounting holes should be very apparent right under the bumper in the center.license.jpg

there is two un used holes in the bumper that is mounted up side down that the thing will bolt to.

the top of the plate gets hooked into the plate and then the bottom has two inserts and then a screw goes into that.

if needed, i can send you a picture of mine. i take mine in and out at the track so i'm very familiar with it.
