1973 manual trans starter?

Does anybody know which starter a 1973 Mach 1 351 Cleveland with 4 speed would need? I do know it's a 164 tooth flywheel. Thanks!!

Are you wanting a stock style starter or high torque?
If you want a stock style, any auto store will have one.
Jegg’s , summit, CJpony will have both stock and high torque starters.

If you have the factory 164 tooth bell/flywheel combination, you need the #3132 starter.

If you'd like to move into a late model PMGR starter, then a 1995 F-150 w/351W and manual trans is the application. The interchange number is 3241

Thanks!!! I was able to find one at the local NAPA! I am just going with an OEM style. Nothing special. Thanks Gents!

I am pleased with my NAPA rebuilt starter. Make sure it is the one for the manual transmission as the pinion depths differ.
