Live and learn. When I was younger and of course, no bank account.... Rust was my friend. As I don’t have the space, skill or tools, I have only purchased rust free cars as my initial base in the last 20+ years. Worth the extra $$$ initially. Anything mechanical can easily be sorted. Back in the day, I spent many a night with cans of bondo and spray bombs “fixing” my rides....
