1991 Taurus SHO

I made my periodic foray to the local "Pull-A-Part" today and found a COMPLETE 1991 Taurus SHO. They had it marked as a regular Taurus so I am thinking the scavengers have not figured it out yet.

Anyway, they will not sell a "whole" car but I am thinking about pulling the 24V motor and transmission. I understand they only made about 6000 of those puppies.

Do anyone know how the SHO electric fan compares to the regular 3.8 Taurus fan?

I had a 91 Taurus LX with the 3.8 and it had a big radiator! If I remember right, it was similar in size to the SHO but I think the whole SHO deal was different being a Yamaha engine and all. I'll see if I can find out on the old Taurus Forum that I still admin...LOL!

Taurus forum says that the 3.8 uses a 2 speed fan whereas the SHO is a single speed fan with a resister. SHO fan may also be a bit smaller.
