So it ain't gonna be yellow after all, is it? :)

Congrats Mike. You've done a great job so far. I still remember what the car looked like when it was parked in your trailer and, man, it's good to see it have come this far.

Although I rarely posted, I've been following your thread all this time.

Good job, my friend. :)

Everything looks great, your moving right along, I'm jealous! Just a quick question, when you sprayed your jambs, did you mask the outside body panels or did you just let the over spray go on them and then sand it smooth before you spray the outside? Thanks Ryan

Thanks Ryan. We had the hole car masked off so we didn't have to sand the over spray during final blocking.

Thanks Scott!! I'm stoked on the roll the project is on.

Well today was a milestone day for my Mach 1! My day started at 730 am loading up and heading to the rented spray both. Next was about 4hrs of masking it all up. Then some sealer, 4 coats of color and 3 coats of clear. I'm very happy with color choice and how strait the car came out. Tomorrow back to the body shop to pick it up. Will post better pics when I get it home.

Mike, AWESOME!!! ::thumb::

I bet you're so excited that you can barely contain yourself! Congratulations on reaching this milestone...one of my favorite threads! When I cherry pick many (very many) pics from a thread, to save for my own resource material, you get on that list. (and your posts get automatically read as soon as I see them)

Thanks Eric for the kind words and checking out my build.

This morning I picked the Mach and proudly brought it home. :cool: Then spent most of the day watching paint dry. Up next is to block it with 800.

Wow the red really looks good! Looks like all your hard work has paid off. Ryan

That car does look very straight. That is a vibrant red. I think it really suits that car. Especially if it gets the black Mach treatment. Are you cutting and polishing the paint yourself or is someone doing it for you? It's a real skill.
