351C MLS Head Gasket Re-Torque

When I re-torqued the MLS head gaskets after 100mi. on my "H" code 351, I noticed that the intake bolts (under the valve cover) were spot on and the exhaust bolts all required additional torque. This was the same on both heads. I assume this is due to the greater thermal cycle on the exhaust side of the heads.
Has anyone else noticed this?

Sure, It was Fel-Pro No. 8548PT2

That is the wrong part number. Must be from my 302W.

The correct no. is Fel-Pro Full Engine Set No. FS 8347 PT.

The correct no. is Fel-Pro Full Engine Set No. FS 8347 PT.

The 8347PT is not an MLS gasket, but a PermaTorque gasket that is not supposed to need to be retorqued.

351c1971, Generally speaking a re-torque not needed on composite head gaskets as stated by Hemikiller. Why did ya re-torque, was something leaking?

No leaks, I retorqued the heads out of habit. (Old habits die hard.)
That was when I noticed the difference in torque between the intake and exhaust side of the heads.

Well, like they say in NJ: It's now "more better"
