-Freshly blasted and coated

@Steven Harris: Found it on eBay. It was taken out of the car in 1971, shipped to Holman-Moody, then stored in a crate while the car was being turned into a pro-stocker. The project was abandoned and they both went their separate ways. The power train is now sitting in my garage and I'm restoring the chassis right now.

I'm selling off all of the following parts from my collection. It has taken me YEARS to gather everything for my 1971 SCJ Mustang project, the result of thousands of hours of research and digging. Last month, I found my car's original and complete power train, so everyone gets a free ride on my suffering I would like to sell this as a package deal to someone who needs a power train for their 429 project, but of course that isn't always feasible and some people need specific parts. Email me at [email protected] with what you're interested in, and we'll try to work things out so that everyone is happy.

The prices listed are definitely high/optimistic- I haven't fully considered pricing yet, but I'm guessing that prices are required here, so I'll follow the rules. Shipping costs are not included in the listed prices as they can vary heavily.

First item:

-DOVE-A 4-bolt main block, date code 0C17, VIN# 0H215172

-Bored 0.030", magnafluxed. Fully machined with no cracks, this is a top-notch block.

-Price: $1500

Second item:

-D0OE-R cylinder heads, date code "SPEC".

-Fully machined, come with 16 original & machined valves. Pushrod guide plates included, as are valve springs, retainers and locks. Will come fully assembled and ready to run.

-429 SCJ exhaust manifolds

-Part numbers D0OE-9430-A (L) and D1ZE-9431-CA-1 ®

-Date code 9-8-70 on the right, no date code on the left

-Great condition - they still have factory overspray - leave as is or paint and go.
