My Car
1968 Coupe: 393w, TKO-600, Maier Racing springs, Global West suspension, Currie 9in with forged axles, 3.50 gears, Trutrac, Baer brakes front/rear
1973 Mach-1: 351c 4V, C-6, 3.73:1 gears and a long "To Do" list..
According to a 460 Horsepower chart I found, the 525-550 HP "recipe" is as follows:

-460 with 10:1 compression

-850 Holley

-Edelbrock Performer RPM intake

-TFS heads with mild port/clean up

-240/246 @ .050- .584/.588-110 LSA

-1 7/8" headers 3" dual exhaust with H-pipe and 3" Magnaflow

-91 octane

-redline to 6500

I also read that, when stroking a motor and I want to keep the hp/tq the same, I should add 12'-16' of duration for every 50 inches. If I were building a 520 stroker (60 additional inches), I would want to use a cam that was about 256/262 & .050. Would this be correct? Has anyone here done a similiar build?

my 521 with iron heads and a 252 and 260 dur cam had 600hp which was hard'ish to keep traction on the street and i bet it'll be a pain in the ass to drive with an automatic.

i will send you a PM to not clutter this thread.
