What is the copper colored line in the lower right of this pic? And how is it supposed to be oriented and attached on the other end?
Mine is badly screwed up.

Thanks, are there any diagrams showing how it should be routed? Mine in dangling and loose on the other end.
 
Here is a photo of a 1968 Mustang 6 cyl and how it is routed. 1971 should be about the same.

This is the only 6cyl illustration I found in the MPC. It's for the full size Ford 240-6, but you can consider the installation "typical".

My tube is exiting on the driver's side of the choke. Wonder if somebody changed something...
