71 Center dash 3 gauge package

Looking for replacements for stock gauges, oil, water, elec, seem to be 2 inch but 2 are 5/8 deep while 1 is 1" +. Has anyone done replace,ents? what did you do or use?

J, I've seen a few different pics of gauge pods sporting aftermarket gauges so I know it's possible. However, I haven't done this myself so maybe someone will chime in. I don't think it would be too hard to do.

Seems like Jim from down under did this swap... the same guy that did the excellent LED tutorial. I'll find the link and edit this post with it in a few.

Auto meter 2-1/6" Ultra lites. Just hot glued from the rear.

the holley 2 1/4 gauges fit if you take the black plastic cradle off and the front bezel as well. But being a quarter inch too big, the cosmetic rings on the center gauge cluster tends to hide a bit of the holley dial. Ideally, 2 inch gauges will work nicely (but are not as common). Just check depth dimensions as some are deeper than others.
