71 mustang PS gear box with march or other pump

Hello,

need technical help.Have original ps gear box in my 71. Putting in a 429 and need to switch over to another PS pump to mount with afternarket brackets. My question is what pump do you all prefer and any issues using our for steering gear with a non ford pump. Help Help Help

All I've ever used was a saginaw. Can't respond to anything else but never had any issues.

Thanks I was concerned what the saginaw pump pressures might do to the stock power steering response. Had a 351c with ford pump going to 429 with most likely saginaw

Your steering box is a saginaw,and ford also used the saginaw power steering pump. You'll be fine with either one.
