A different kind of Mustang project

My son bought me these five canvas prints no frame. Most prints of this type are mounted to frames and hung adjoining on another. I decided to make a custom frame for them. I am no carpenter, but I think it turned out okay. It was a nice change of pace from my usual restoration project and the honey-do list. Now I have to find a place to hang it.

Notice the 71-73 model years were ignored... as usual, but so was the 1965-1968s and the Mustang II years. And we have a 69 and 70 represented along with three relatively new models... go figure.

Great job on the carpentry. Maybe the reason our years is ignored is because of the change in designer and new designer was not considered to have the Mustang DNA in him

Lol! I never go anywhere without my persuader. It makes a good weight when not pounding something into submission.

Rich, those look terrible!!! I doubt your wife will let you hang those anywhere in the house muchless your man cave. To keep you from getting into any trouble, just send them to me and I will take one for the team and hang them in my corner of the house!     :whistling:

Now back to earth.

......Just like the quality work on your cars, your carpentry skills look just as impressive. I've had some custom frames made for some Michael Irvine prints I wanted to hang in my office during the Ford Blue Oval qualifying/inspection days. Cost a small fortune and and they are nowhere as nice as the ones you made. 

I also see that no matter what job you are performing an assortment of hammers is always handy to have closeby.

Thanks, Steve, My carpentry skills are hit and miss, but as I tell my kids, with a good plan and then take your time following it and you can accomplish just about anything... as they say "measure twice, cut once" or "when you cut corners you go around in circles".

Still negotiating with the wife on where to hang it. Anyway, it's now time to get back to work on the 70 Mustang.
